About their new album
"A New Story" is a result of collaboration between Nobuo Uematsu and Kanon. With Kanon's ending song to 2009 NHK animation GUIN SAGA as a start, Uematsu and Kanon identified with each other, and their work eventually evolve into this album.
The album contains best works from Uematsu include "Prelude", "FINAL FANTASY", "Eyes On Me" and "Searching for Friends", "Guin Saga Medley" from animation GUIN SAGA and their new song. Inspired by fusion of Uematsu's epic and beautiful music world and Kanon's miraculous voice and music, their album is titled "A New Story". In addition, Kanon has written original lyrics for three FINAL FANTASY songs which were originally instrumental video game music.
The album artwork was made by world-renowned artist and FINAL FANTASY character designer Yoshitaka Amano. Having inspired by this album, Amano has made two artwork exclusive for A New Story. An initial lot of the album will feature valuable Digipak package and pictured label using his artwork.
